How Can I Become a Sponsor?
When becoming a HomeAid donor or sponsor, there are a few things to consider.
First, does HomeAid San Diego’s mission to provide safe, dignified housing where
homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives align with your
company’s philanthropic goals?
Related to this question is whether your company/organization can devote the
internal resources (e.g., cash, in-kind materials, time, etc.) to HomeAid San
Diego in order to achieve your philanthropic goals.
If your company’s product or service relates to building housing, there are many
opportunities to use your product or service to help promote your business in
the building industry and help those people who are less fortunate. HomeAid San
Diego offers the ability to establish relationships with local and national
builders as well as the manufacturing, financial, and retail companies that are
part of the building industry.
Lastly, does your company wish to have a “hands-on” approach, such as serving on
our chapter board or a committee, attending events, volunteering for one of our
Service Providers, etc.? If so, then HomeAid San Diego can discuss a program
with you that will help your company achieve its philanthropic and business
goals.
