Mr. Vettel is the President of Geocon Incorporated and one of twelve owners of
the Geocon Group. Geocon is a private consulting firm providing geotechnical and
geoenvironmental engineering services to public and private clients. Mr. Vettel
started his career as a PGA golf professional before earning a Master of Science
degree in Civil Engineering at San Diego State University. He spent seven years
working with Moore & Taber before joining Geocon in 1998. He is a co-author of
several papers in pier reviewed journals and was the chairman of the American
Society of Civil Engineering Geotechnical Group. He spends spare time with his
wife Jennifer, 2-year-old foster son Joel and 6-month-old daughter Genevieve
