Run by Catholic Charities, Casa Maria is an inter-generational, inter-departmental housing program for homeless pregnant women or homeless women over the age of 50. HomeAid San Diego and CBRE employees teamed up using their combined real estate resources to provide much needed renovations to the exterior and interior of the house.
The exterior of the house and garage were painted, new front yard landscaping with a modern irrigation system was installed, the rear deck was rebuilt, an interior bathroom remodeled, garage shelves installed, and the interiors were refurbished with new linens, accessories and necessities for the kitchen. This project was part of a National BuildMonth partnership between HomeAid and CBRE. Many thanks to Brickman Group, Sal Concha Painting, Allen Electric, Westpro Plumbing, Countywide Mechanical, Lot Management, Sherwin Williams and Vista Paint who donated talent, time and materials worth $25,000.
