Thomas is the founder of San Diego Real Estate Investment Corporation and
focuses on ground up institutional grade industrial and office development and
acquisition of existing real estate assets.
Employing the values of vision, passion, integrity, and tenacity integrated with
the management tenets of strategic thinking, quality relationships and pursuit
of perfection, Thomas has been able to achieve world-class results throughout
his dynamic career.
He began his commercial real estate career with Coldwell Banker (now CB Richard
Ellis) where he was a leading producer specializing in multi family apartment
projects and sites for development. During his tenure as a broker he won many
awards for sales excellence which led him to author his first book, “Winning in
Commercial Real Estate Sales-An Action Plan for Success”.
Thomas next joined the ranks of CB Commercial’s senior executive management team
where as an Executive Vice President he reported to the Chairman/ CEO and
had responsibilities for professional education, marketing, corporate
communications, and change management for the entire firm.
He was the architect and leader of the CB Center for Professional Education
(CBU) which became the benchmark for sales, leadership, and management training
and development throughout the industry.
Arthur Andersen recruited Thomas to join their global real estate and
hospitality practice where he quickly made Partner and successfully led their
strategy development and integrated marketing efforts around the world.
A brief stint in the software business working for a $4Billion dollar software
entity as leader for global marketing led to significant brand development
results for the company and multiple awards for his team.
Thomas also delivers key note presentations to real estate and other industry
companies on the topics of strategic thinking, change management, and
competitive advantage.
Named in 2006’s Who’s Who in San Diego Real Estate he is writing a new book on
Competitive Advantage and currently has three industrial projects in various
stages of sell out/lease up.
He serves on the boards of Home Aid San Diego and Senior Community Centers, is a
member of NAIOP, and with his lovely wife Julie and dog Kona live in Rancho
Santa Fe, California where they are active in their church and a variety of
outdoor activities.
