David Potter is Vice President/Development Partner at JPI, a privately held real estate company specializing in the development and investment management of Class A multifamily assets primarily in Texas and southern California. He is responsible for managing the development process, including entitlements, permitting and design along with owner oversight of communities during construction and lease-up. David has experience in the multifamily and commercial sectors, including acquisitions, institutional asset/portfolio management, development, dispositions, and finance. David has been involved in the planning and development of over 5,000 units across Southern California and Arizona, including for-rent as well as attached and detached for-sale product.
David received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. In addition to HomeAid, David is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is on the board of directors for the Downtown San Diego Partnership.
