Ron Sutliff is responsible for the firm’s San Diego Project and Development Services Group (PDS). DTZ’s PDS Group leads a collaborative process to analyze, plan and execute successful real estate and construction solutions for our clients in an “owner’s representative” capacity. The group focuses on the entire real estate value chain from due diligence, economic analysis, feasibility, conceptual planning, entitlements and development/project management. As project managers, the group has a simple mission: to produce the required facility-at a specified price, at a specified time, efficiently and without legal conflict.
Ron Sutliff formally owned San Diego Project Management Services, and before that was Senior Vice President with The Staubach Company (now Jones Lang LaSalle) leading their project management efforts in Southern California. His broad experience includes site development and project management of corporate, governmental, industrial, manufacturing, biomedical, and healthcare facilities.
With over $1 billion of successful construction projects representing 15 million square feet, Ron Sutliff is one of the most experienced and respected construction professionals in San Diego. Since providing project management services, Ron has completed over 1 million square feet of tenant improvements and another million square feet of new building construction. In addition, he has managed several LEED gold projects including one of the largest in Southern California.
