8th Annual HomeAid San Diego “STEP UP” Walk to End Homelessness
HomeAid San Diego 6th Annual Walk to End Homelessness (2024)
Join HomeAid San Diego for our 8th annual STEP UP! Walk to End Homelessness as we celebrate 25 years of building new lives. Since 2019, over 30 companies and hundreds of individuals have joined colleagues, family, and friends for this day of service and giving back.
Enjoy a morning 5K walk, good food, learning, and community while helping us double our participation and impact this year. The event features a homeless service provider pavilion, carnival games, food offerings, and a post-walk celebration—fun for all ages!
Create a Fundraising Team!
This year, we’re adding a friendly team competition to make fundraising even more impactful (and fun!). By creating a company team, your employees can come together, show your organization’s community spirit, and compete against other local businesses to see who can raise the most funds. Prizes and recognition will be given for top teams!

About HomeAid San Diego
HomeAid San Diego: Building a Future Without Homelessness
HomeAid’s mission is to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education. HomeAid’s vision is to be a vital force in creating safe and dignified housing and programmatic facilities for those who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Who We Serve
We walk alongside some of the most vulnerable members of our community, including:
Families, veterans, and individuals facing homelessness
Former foster youth, young mothers and their children
Survivors of domestic violence, seniors, and those living with disabilities
Each person we serve carries a story of strength, and with the right support, they can write a new chapter filled with stability, purpose, and hope.
What We Do
Through powerful partnerships and generous hearts, we bring together the building industry and the community to create real change—guided by our three core pillars: construction, community engagement, and education.
