From Classroom to First day on the Job, Four WORKS program grads hired by Lennar San Diego

(May 9, 2022 - San Diego) On March 7, HomeAid SD launched it’s first construction and job preparation training course with seven students and on March 21 they graduated and applied for job opportunities offered exclusively to them. Less than two months later we are thrilled to announce that four of our students are now Lennar San Diego employees. Huge thanks to our WORKS program lead Alan Willingham of Lennar San Diego, lead instructor David Wright of Lennar San Diego, HomeAid SD’s Executive Director Mary Lydon, financial training by Bank of America, resume and job preparation instructor/HomeAid SD Board President Staci Reidinger and our partner service provider Promises2Kids. We’d also like to thank the Lucky Duck Foundation, The Conrad Prebys Foundation and the Lennar Foundation for their support to this program. We are just getting started and have our second cohort slated to begin June 13, 2022.
